Ewwww hairballs! We’ve all seen them, but here is a new twist on pet hair awareness…
This is ‘my’ creation for the big Hairball Awareness Day event, which is today. I interviewed Caroline Golon, staff of Romeo the cat (spokescat for this event) on About.com so people can learn more about Hairball Awareness Day.
I say ‘my’ because the concept and creation of Hair Bear was actually my 11 year old daughter. I just made the glass beads and brushed the furry participants.
This is a collaborative effort on behalf of the pets, too.
The participants:
- Barnie – main body (black)
- Quincy and Sophie – light brown belly, face and paws
- Argos and Purl – eyes
The heart is felt and the claws and teeth are polyfill.
