Team Sniff
Sophie always finds something to sniff. She even paws a little space in the snow around her nose for enhanced sniffing. Argos then barges in, trying to figure out what is so darn interesting. I wrote about my dogs’ natural talents (ha!) yesterday on K9Cuisine, and thought I would post this photo of them “in action.”

Seriously? Interesting sniffs in freshly fallen snow?
The photo doesn’t show it, but we had a big blizzard. Lots of wind, so some areas are shallow, other places have 3-4 foot drifts. This, after fairly balmy temperatures lately. Today, 9F and dropping. It is the -9F wind chills that make it hard to breathe out there. brrrr.

That big lump is a drift!

I have been writing about pets and veterinary medicine on the
Clyde will bury his face up to his ears when he’s on a sniff in the snow mission! They are so funny that way! We got snow again last night too, but (thankfully) not quite that much.
Sophie does that too! So funny. Then she flops over on her side and makes snow angels.
I need to get a photo of that.
Brrrrr it is -16F wind chill this morning (-3F temp) and even snow-loving Sophie didn’t want to stay out more than a few minutes to do her business.
