Dog Collar Charms

I have had a lot of questions about using glass dog bone beads as dog collar charms. I started making them as collar charms almost 2 years ago by request. I thought it would just be a “fad” or a “small dog” thing, but they continue to grow in popularity – so many choices of charms out there for all sizes/types of dogs!

I issue the standard disclaimers — the beads are glass and should not be dropped, chewed or ingested. (Glass isn’t toxic, but chewed up pieces going through the intestines = not good.) I recommend that pets wear them with “supervision” — too much roughhousing or staying in kennel/crate situations where a charm or any dog tag could get caught could be trouble.

Disclaimers out of the way, collar charms are a fun way to add a little color and individuality to your dog’s collar. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me.
